McCready-Telford Foundation

Mission Statement

To support, promote and advance mutual goals of the
McCready Manor and Telford Terrace community by managing and allocating
endowment funds through fundraising and philanthropic giving programs.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the Foundation is administered by
an Executive Director and governed by volunteers
serving on the Board of Directors.

St. Andrews Retirement Community is a nonprofit with a continuing commitment to keep costs reasonable for all residents.

The McCready-Telford Foundation relies on the generous support of friends, families, churches and community partners to help fund the programs and services we offer our residents.

The Foundation Board and staff strive to match the philanthropic desires of the donors to the needs of McCready Manor and Telford Terrace, and to administer gifts in an ethical and accountable manner. Charitable giving provides donors with a meaningful role in continuing our mission. We are grateful to all donors whose names will appear in our newsletter, The Journey.

The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is on the wall at McCready Manor. Donors of gifts of $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 may have a plaque engraved with the donor’s name, or be used to honor or memorialize someone else.

Annual or Memorial Giving

Gifts of any amount are gratefully accepted at any time for the Endowment Fund.

The McCready-Telford Legacy Fund

The Board established the McCready-Telford Foundation Legacy Society on October 21, 2010. Donors are recognized for planned giving through:

Dot a bequest in a will for any amount (undesignated)

Dot a one-time gift of $10,000 or more (undesignated)

Dot cumulative giving amounting to $10,000 or more to the Endowment (undesignated)

Besides bequests, donors may use a variety of giving vehicles including: cash, marketable securities, life insurance policies, retirement plans, real estate, tangible personal property, charitable gift annuities, and charitable trusts.

In this way, these generous donors are recognized now for their commitment to our mission.
