A Simple Way - In Your Will

Saint Andrews Place was founded thanks to a bequest in the will of Stephen F. McCready.

“To First Presbyterian Church at Richmond, Kentucky, in memory of my beloved wife, Isabel Bennett McCready, to be used to found or enlarge or endow a nursing and retirement home.”

So we know first-hand, that the importance of bequests cannot be overstated.

Bequests are easy to give by simply adding a codicil to a will.  The will itself does not need to be rewritten.

Since no money is given during the donor’s lifetime, a bequest does not alter one’s current cash flow or finances. It is a safe “investment” for the future of McCready Manor and Telford Terrace.

Gifts of Appreciated Stock, Insurance or Annuities

Planned gifts such as these are encouraged and appreciated.

Each planned gift is unique and requires special attention.  Please contact the Foundation Office to discuss your specific interest.

The McCready-Telford Legacy Society was established in 2011 to acknowledge those who name the Foundation in their will (for any amount) or who make a one-time  or cumulative gift of $10,000 or more.

In this way, these generous donors are recognized now for their commitment to our mission.  PLEASE let us know if you have already included the Foundation in your will or planned gift.

The Foundation Office is located on the
second floor of McCready Manor.
